TRICARE Autism Program for Military Families

Chimes is working with TRICARE military insurance to implement an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program for military families with children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Military families are often faced with the burden of relocation, which can disrupt a child’s routine. For a child diagnosed with ASD, having a consistent and structured environment is crucial in helping him/her to grow and manage him/her behaviors. Chimes’ goal is to provide a community-based or in-home ABA service for families so they learn and continue treatment in order to create a stable environment, regardless of relocation disruptions. Our ABA services are free to qualifying children of military families with TRICARE insurance.

The program is led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who will be responsible for the supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians, whose responsibilities will include working with child-in-need services, and training for the family/caregiver.

The TRICARE Autism Program will be directed by Marc Fields, a BCBA who has a master’s degree in psychology. Marc has 10 years of experience as a behavior analyst working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to initiate positive behavioral changes. The ABA program services provided will include direct treatment, data collection, data analysis, behavioral assessments, family/caregiver training, and behavior progress reports.
