Katie Tuszynski — Employee Highlight
Meet Katie Tuszynski, the Human Resources Generalist for Chimes DC. Her previous work included a position as Talent Acquisition Specialist and she has a background in recruitment. Katie, who has worked for Chimes for three years, shares, “I took this position because I believe in the mission and vision of Chimes. In addition, I was looking for a position that was new and challenging.”
Katie’s favorite thing about her job at Chimes is relationship building and being able to interact with our employees on a daily basis. She likes that there is variety in her work and every day is a new challenge, which she loves.
When Katie isn’t working, she loves to travel to new countries and cities. “My favorite place to be is on the beach, and I love watching scary movies,” says Katie, whose favorite holiday is Halloween.
Katie, who just received her Master’s Degree from Towson University in May, has some goals she’d like to accomplish in her current role. She shares, “I would like to accomplish the following: increase employee engagement and reduce turnover at our Chimes DC sites, continue to mentor employees and supervisors and improve communication.” She adds, “I am excited about the new changes in our HR department and look forward to having electronic files.”
