Michele Mirabella–Employee Highlight
Michele Ann Mirabella, Director of Residential Services for Chimes Delaware, has been with Chimes since 2010 where she started as Coordinator of Sales/Marketing and Business Development. Michele shares, “I was working as the Development Director and a Legislative Liaison for the Delaware Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, which is a membership organization for providers who support individuals with I/DD. The organization is now called the Ability Network of Delaware. I had a working relationship with all of the providers in Delaware and was invited to look at a position opening at Chimes.”
Michele’s favorite thing about her job is interacting with our individuals. She says, “I love spending time with the individuals who choose our supports and the residential staff who support them. I especially love attending picnics and parties in the homes—we have some phenomenal cooks!”
When Michele is not working, she likes to spend time with her family and friends. “Since my children are now adults, I started beekeeping. I currently have two hives and enjoy working in the hives and harvesting the honey.”
