Chimes is going country this year! Please join us for our annual Chimes Gala on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel as we honor David Garbarino, Market President for BB&T and be entertained by country artists Lonestar and Phil Vassar.

Lonestar
The country music group Lonestar, best known for such No. 1 hits as “Amazed” and “I’m Already There” will be a featured performer at Chimes’ annual gala. With over a 100 dates worldwide per year, they are celebrating over 20 years together. Lonestar’s highly anticipated CD, Never Enders, features ten new original Lonestar songs that bring the band’s trademark sound into the contemporary arena.
Phil Vassar
Country music hitmaker Phil Vassar is a piano-pounding powerhouse on stage who taps into his audiences via social media for song requests throughout his more than 135 shows a year. Phil’s reign of signature songs include 10 No. 1 singles and 26 Top 40 hits, including Carlene, Just Another Day in Paradise, Six-Pack Summer, When I Love You; and many more.
The Honoree: David J Garbarino
Dave is the Market President for BB&T’s Northern Maryland Markets. He is a member of the Maryland Region’s Senior Leadership Team. Dave has been with BB&T since 1999 and serves as the senior banker responsible for coordination and promotion of the Bank’s image within the community. He is responsible for the management and optimization of all commercial banking functions.
Current Board positions include the Kennedy Krieger Institute (Chair of the Festival of Trees), Junior Achievement, the Baltimore County Education Foundation and the Miles & Stockbridge Client Advisory Board.

The Chimes Gala is our annual fundraising event. The funds raised will allow us to address the most pressing needs that funding does not cover for our 24,000 individuals. Examples are technology – assistive devices; dental care and helping to subsidize increased training and education for the staff who work closely with the individuals that we serve.
