How Chimes Can Help Those With Intellectual Disabilities and Autism

At Chimes, we are proud to offer a wide variety of services for those with intellectual disabilities, autism, behavioral health and co-occurring disorders–from toddlers to seniors. All of our supports are specially tailored to the unique abilities and needs of each and every person we serve.

Although specific services vary depending on location, some of the services include residential services in-home, support options, day habilitation, vocational programs, employment and behavioral health services.

Day supports emphasize enrichment activities, skill acquisition and full community participation and are available in a facility and in the community. Program participants have the opportunity to volunteer with organizations in the community. Those who participate in day services gain a sense of pride and confidence, while developing meaningful relationships and engaging in new experiences.

We also offer an array of supported living options and staffing alternatives to enable individuals with intellectual disabilities to live in homes, apartments and communities of their choice. Chimes’ staff assist individuals to become as independent as possible by helping them to acquire new skills, while giving them opportunities to pursue their interests in the community.

These are just a sample of the diverse range of services we offer to those with intellectual disabilities and autism. You can view a more comprehensive list here.
