Spreading the Love at Liberty Club East!

A mainstay of Baltimore County’s disability community, Liberty Club East is all about offering opportunity and choice for the people we serve. Now housed in a brand-new location in White Marsh, Liberty Club East serves more than 60 people each day.

Every day is an adventure at Liberty Club East, with a vast array of off-site activities available to participants, including shooting hoops at a local gymnasium, visiting the bowling alley, going to the library, and playing bingo. Wednesdays are movie matinee day at a nearby theater and once a week a career coach provides job readiness training and helps connect program participants with prospective employment opportunities. A favorite destination is an area park, where picnic lunches and strolls by the dock and taking photographs of landscapes and wildlife make for an exciting adventure.

Along with engaging activities that offer people with disabilities the opportunity to integrate into the broader community, Liberty Club East offers a truly inclusive W.O.W. Program. An acronym for With Out Walls, W.O.W. is staffed by Direct Support Professionals who visit their “regulars” at home and accompany them into the community, whether it be a doctor’s appointment, a shopping trip, or even a job interview!

Since reopening its doors to the community, Liberty Club East has become an essential hub for our eastern Baltimore County community. With a capacity to serve up to 100 individuals, we are working to bring more people into our extraordinary program.

Chimes is proud to have this hive of activity and camaraderie continue to provide essential services and meaningful opportunities for engagement, entertainment, employment and lasting friendships.
