The Benefits of Teaching Verbal Behavior to Persons with Autism and Developmental Disabilities 

All attendees were captivated Friday, May 11th at the Professional Development Workshop lead by Dr. Vincent Carbone, Board Certified Behavior Analysis Doctorate and New York Licensed Behavior Analyst as they were educated about the benefits of teaching verbal behavior to persons with autism and developmental disabilities.

Terry Blackwell, President and CEO of Chimes International introduced Dr. Carbone to over 160 attendees, including BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs direct care staff, psychologists, educators, and more. This event presented an opportunity to learn from one of the greatest minds in applied behavior analysis—Dr. Vince Carbone, best known as the developer and presenter of a series of workshops on teaching verbal behavior to children with autism based upon B.F. Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior. Those who attended earned 6 BACB Type 2 CEUs.
