Career Support Systems, LLC joined the Chimes Family of Services on January 15, 2026.
Supported employment for people with disabilities and barriers to independent employment is one of Chimes core service areas. Adding CSS to the Chimes Family of Services expands our geographic reach in central and northern Virginia. It also expands the total number of people Chimes serves in the area of employment services.
CSS was founded in 1993 by Joanne Ellis and Lance Elwood. Lance now leads the work of CSS as a part of Chimes and Joanne decided that the time is right for her to step back and enjoy retirement.
