Speaking Up on Midday Maryland: Supporting People with Disabilities

Earlier this week, our CEO, Steve DaRe, joined Laura Howell, CEO of the Maryland Association of Community Services (MACS), on Midday Maryland on WMAR-2 News Baltimore to mark Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.

Steve and Laura spotlighted the incredible achievements of people with disabilities in Maryland and beyond, made possible through the support of organizations like Chimes and MACS. They also addressed the budget challenges facing states like Maryland, and how these issues could affect individuals with disabilities, their families, and our communities.
