Chimes Eastern Shore Promotes Melodie Billman To Role
Of Community Support Specialist Supervisor

Melodie BillmanChimes International, Ltd. and Subsidiaries, known as the Chimes Family of Services, is pleased to announce that Melodie Billman has been promoted to Community Support Specialist Supervisor for Chimes Eastern Shore Program.

Melodie has been a dedicated member of Chimes team since joining the Eastern Shore program in July 2012 and brings more than 25 years of experience in the field to her new role.

Melodie has a proven ability to lead the staff and work effectively with the vendors and partners of Chimes. She currently works to make individuals with disabilities more self-sufficient, helping them find employment and assisting with resumes, job searches, applications, interviews, bills, and additional needs.

In her new position, Melodie will play a key role in the development and management of Chimes services throughout the nine jurisdictions the organizations serves on the Eastern Shore. She will work to expand services for people with disabilities in an area where there are still unmet needs.

“Melodie was chosen for this position because of her diligence and devotion to her work and her passion for improving the lives of people with disabilities,” said Alexis M. Melin, LCSW, Special Assistant to the President at Chimes. “She is well known and regarded throughout the communities we serve on the Eastern Shore. We are eager to help her continue to increase the number of people Chimes serves in this area.”

Melodie graduated from the College of Notre Dame with BA in Elementary/Special Education. She has been a resident of the Eastern Shore for 15 years and has worked for a number of disability service providers in the area throughout her career.
